In forest therapy, the use of scrolls to focus or expand our thinking is a delightful treat.
And on our wildHER adventures, scrolls offer us wisdom to ponder on certain days as we float the river or wander the shore.
It’s also delightful that one of our triple crown participants, Jackie Radford of J Radford, is a talented paper maker, book binder, and journal creator who offers her handmade paper to us for the scrolls.
Isn’t there something wonderful about unrolling a scroll to reveal a quote that strikes you gently (or very directly) by getting to the heart of things?
And isn’t there something wonderful about feeling the softness of handmade paper, the rough edges, the strands of silk woven in, the color that just makes you swoon?
We love scrolls and how a simple piece of paper with words scratched on it invites us into new ways of BE-ing.
Warmly,
Angie
P.S. And in talking about scrolls and forest therapy, there’s definitely opportunity to experience both on the upcoming 3rd annual wildHER adventure. We’re down to four seats remaining. Is one of them yours?
