Whatcha doing this coming Sunday, May 17th? Want to join me for from 8:30 am – 11 am at Purser-Hulsey Park in Matthews, NC for a forest bathing experience in the enchanted forest section of the park? I know you do!
Cost: $25/person for the 2.5-hour workshop
Forest Therapy is inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku or “Forest Bathing”; which includes a gentle walk, invitations for stillness and exploration, and sharing with others in the group. In the practice of Forest Therapy, participants are guided into nature
step-by-step and invited to engage each of their five senses.
The growing body of scientific knowledge demonstrates the benefits of spending time in nature, as a wellness practice, and as an effective way to manage stress.
Join us for this journey with the more-than-human world at Purser-Hulsey Park in Matthews to unplug, slow down, and reconnect with yourself and the natural world around you.
Our time together will include:
- Introduction to Forest Therapy
- Sensorial nature experiences
- A handful of guided Forest Bathing invitations
- Sharing / listening circles
- Closing circle
Participants often share that their stress dissolves, confusion lifts, insights awaken — and they take home a renewed sense of connection, meaning and purpose in their lives.
