Choice vs. chance

I admit it – I’m getting close to 40 years old (or young – ahem)!

And there are a few things that run in my family that I am aware of and want to pay attention to – things like gaining weight really easily and diseases like diabetes.

My instinct, when I think about these things, is to try overcome them in big grand gestures:
• I’ll never eat white sugar again!
• I’ll exercise every single day!
• I’ll have perfect nutrition!

And when I read over my statements, they make me laugh because they sound so much like New Year’s resolutions that are proudly declared and quickly discarded.

Instead, I’m choosing a more sane route.

One that involves choice – but that choice happens each minute, each hour, each day, and each week.

One of the ways I help myself make better choices is to create time in my schedule for enough sleep, exercise, and eating.

I put myself through my own Time Map Method(TM) at the beginning of this year. And it has already made a significant difference in how I evaluate and choose to use my time. Now I clearly SEE there’s time to do the things I’ve decided are important:
• Client work and meetings
• Writing articles
• Creating organizing videos
• Making prospecting and sales calls
• Exercising
• Eating regularly throughout the day

It might seem silly to chart all this out. And the interesting thing is it actually works. I’m eating better (and more regularly). I’m heading to the gym at night after work. My prospecting calls are getting done. And I’m writing a lot!

All because I’ve gifted myself TIME.

If you’re ready to finally choose your priorities and how you’ll spend your time, the secret is in my personal system: The Time Map Method(TM) .

The details can be found here: Out of Overwhelm Once and For All http://yourorganizedguide.com/out-of-overwhelm

Sincerely,

Angie

P.S. It really IS time to see how easy it can be to use time to your advantage, rather than being run ragged. Let me guide you to a new awareness about time, email, and clutter. And it’s especially great when this new awareness leads to more clients, more time to work ON your business, and you see your revenues start increasing!
