Sometimes I find myself just “going through the motions.” Doing the same thing every day in the same way.
What are some ways you reconnect (get “moored)?
- Here are some of my favorite practices:
- Walking barefoot outside.
- Increasing my sit spot time.
- Weeding my garden and wandering among the strawberry plants.
- Take a longer shower at a different temperature (really hot or really cold).
- Practice breathing on purpose and with intention.
- Writing in my journal – just getting my swirling thoughts out of my head helps A LOT.
Give my suggestions a try the next time you’re feeling “unmoored.” Reconnecting to your body, your breath, and the earth does a body good.
