Here’s another truth about me…
I’m a coach. An Executive Coach. An Executive LIFE Coach.
I know life coaching get a bad rap. And with such a low bar for entry, it’s valid.
The thing is, I’ve been coaching formally in some form or fashion since 2012. I’ve been coaching informally since 2003 when I started my business. And I’ve been the one people came to for guidance and questions since I started working in Charlotte in 1996.
My clients know their businesses. They’ve got sales, operations, and finance under control most of the time. They know “what to do.” So I’m not a business coach, per se.
And if they’re in corporate, my clients know their jobs. They’re pretty clear on their gifts and talents, their career trajectory, and how corporate works. So I’m also not really a corporate coach.
What I am an Executive LIFE Coach. People come to me to figure out their insides. The stuckness, the swirling, the confusion, the frustration. They want a confidential, private space to talk things out.
· Leadership – it’s always and forever figuring out self + others
· Decision-making – this or that, now or later
· Critical thinking – vision + strategy + negotiation
· Problem-solving – short and long term
· Advocacy – self + others
· Situational awareness – which goes way beyond SWOT
The list above covers business issues, those soft skills everyone goes on about. But it also covers PERSONAL challenges, the ones leaders aren’t always comfortable talking about: relationships, family, health, finances, spirituality, and more.
When I work with my professional clients, it never stays just in the “business” or “career” baskets. I coach the WHOLE person.
My practice will be full again by the end of next week for the remainder of 2022.
However, if you’d like to talk about Executive Life Coaching and how it might benefit you in 2023, let’s chat.
