Today’s note is short and sweet.
“F” is for freedom.
And I want to know what it means for you!
To me, freedom is about choosing to start my week quietly with reading and writing.
One of my newer clients tells her subcontractors, “I don’t care when you get your work done as long as you meet your deadlines.”
Another of my clients has a policy of “half-day Fridays.” Every Friday, they are done working at noon. It means they are focused and bust their butt during the week. And if client work demands a Friday afternoon, they do it. But overall, half-day Fridays are the rule.
My sweetie Nelson is also a big advocate of half-day Fridays, too.
One of my friends on Facebook (also a business owner) takes a month-long sabbatical each year to refresh and recharge.
So gentle reader, if you could build freedom into your workweek – or you life – what would that look like? And how could it radically change your attitude, your energy, and your “time management?”
When you’re ready, I’d love to show how to find more freedom. It’s your turn!
Make some room,
Angie
P.S. I’m offering two-hour Make Some Room Rendezvous sessions through the end of the year. They’re suitable for just you and me or a small group or team. The investment is a mere $350 (and it goes up to $500 on January 1, 2014).
