Last week I had a Zoom call with a friend who also happens to be a coach. We were comparing/discussing the state of the world, the coaching industry, and what the hell we’re doing with our lives/businesses.
Here’s a few things I know for sure:
#1: I’m NOT leaving FB. There are too many people there that I love, respect, learn from, lean on, and need in my life. They matter. I hope they stay on FB. I’m staying.
#2: I’m also spending lots of time on Substack reading smart words and writing my own thoughts about An Outdoor Perspective (TM). My hubby Nelson Stegall and I are cooking up something interesting that intersects my nature work and his eye for seeing the world through photography. It’s unique, fun, and exciting. More on that in March.
#3: Sylke Laine and I still have FIVE seats available for the wildHER Rogue River Rafting Adventure happening this September! If you’re a woman who needs a BREAK from the demands of everyday life – work, caregiving, kids, and <waves hands around> all the shit happening in the world right now, THIS ADVENTURE is your opportunity to pull the plug for a week, turn off the noise, and step back into your BODY, join a community of AMAZING women who’ve already signed up and said YES to this. You will not be sorry saying YES and choosing YOU. Generous payment plans are available.
#4: There is no place like nature. There, you can just be you, no judgement, no striving, just pure presence. If it all implodes, I’m ready to go live among the trees. My friend and I this morning talked about real surrender – open your tight fists, relax, and allow what wants to happen to happen. If the Universe is always conspiring in your favor – and it is – how will you NOTICE that today?
#5: I cannot decide what to eat for lunch today.
#6: I want MORE community. I’ll be deliberately inviting my neighbors to join us for Sunday Suppers. Shame on me for not doing that sooner. I’ll continue sharing my garden bounty with them (didn’t last year b/c there was no garden bounty – see: broken wrist, unimproved soil, and out of control mosquitos for unknown reasons).
#7: I want MORE community #B: I’ve had this idea for a group coaching community called “Explore Your Wild Insides” that has a very accessible price point. We gather on the Zooms 3x/month – twice for coaching (lots of mindset work, powerful questions, clarity on all the things, and teeny tiny turtle steps of action) plus 1x/month Virtual Forest Bathing Experiences. If you’re interested, DM me for details. Open to ANYONE. The program officially begins the first Thursday in March, but I’ve already has one sign up, so we’ll do a bunch of bonus sessions for FEBRUARY! Want to join us??
#8: I spent a week kayaking about 10 miles a day, almost every day with my hubby and two dear friends in Florida. Hubs and I slept in our little teardrop camper and I was never so thankful for a heater in my life. I thought Florida was supposed to be WARM?!?!!? It was never really warm. BUT, we had an amazing time anyway – so many manatee! a few gators! TONS of birds! a few otters! TONS of clear springs! It was all my favorite things, minus the tan (my dermatologist is not sad about that, but I am).
#9: The world might be shit and might be about to get shittier. Or the world is magic and might be about to get more magical. It can be either. Or both. You get to decide.
#10: I’m feeling feisty . Feel free to comment on any of this or none of this.
#11: Still hungry. Probably just need food.
#12: #thatisall
Warmly,
Angie
