This is me when I was three years old. We were living overseas because of my dad’s military service. And apparently, I was having the time of my life!
When I look at this picture, I see a whole lot of joy.
I hope you have pictures of yourself at this age that exude this kind of naked joy.
The bigger question, though, is: do you have pictures of yourself NOW that exudes joy and happiness? Are you enjoying moments of laughter and connection and satisfaction (yes, even in the middle of a pandemic)?
If not, what’s happening for you?
I can make a guess: you’re feeling close to (or over the edge already) of burnout. You’ve hit a wall. Those big, pesky questions are getting too close: “What is the point of all this striving?” and “Why am I doing this?” and even “I’m ready to burn it all down.”
Without a hint of irony, you’re having dreams of chucking it all. Going to live on a beach somewhere, far away from the hustle, the grind, and the never-ever-ending To-Do list and gong of meeting reminders.
I get it. I’ve been there.
And I can help you get off the hustle and grind train. Get back to yourself. To what matters.
When you’re ready, reach out.
Warmly,
Angie
