Someone recently asked me about the one decision I made that got me to the place I am today in my business. β
I was a little incredulous. π―
ONE decision? π
Goodness, no.
It was a million tiny decisions. A million small pivots. A million microscopic choices.
I’m 50 years old. At 18, when people asked me what I wanted to “BE” I didn’t have an answer.
And I surely couldn’t have said, “I’d like to be a Martha Beck Certified Wayfinder Life Coach who incorporates Forest Therapy experiences into my work with Founders, business owners, executives, and other leaders so they can create more professional fulfillment, personal satisfaction, and feel a deep hum of inner contentment. And I’d also like to write books, share my thoughts via blogging regularly, and travel extensively on multi-day kayaking and rafting expeditions.”
I mean. The power of small choices, small pivots, small decisions is extraordinary. More extraordinary than people understand. πͺ
And it STARTS by following the nudges, the hunches, the curiosities, and the warmth. These things will lead you towards the life that feels SO GOOD. That fits you SO WELL. And that brings you DEEP SATISFACTION. π
And sure, some days you’re the statue and some days you’re the pigeon. π¦
But OVERALL? Paying attention to what feels warm, curious, interesting…those are the single decisions that lead you along your right path. πΆββοΈ
Even when you’re 50 years old. π
Warmly,
Angie
