I’ve got two opportunities left for a Forest Bathing experience before it gets too darned hot. They’ll resume in September.
Option #1: Forest Bathing at Turtle Island Preserve, Boone, NC, Saturday, June 7th from 9 am – Noon. Register HERE.
Option #2: Forest Bathing at Daniel Stowe Conservancy, Belmont, NC, Saturday, June 28th from 9am – Noon. Register HERE.
Why Forest Bathing? Listening to birdsong reduces cortisol (the stress hormone, too much of which puts you into adrenal fatigue), reduces your heart rate, and triggers parasympathetic calm (hello rest + relax state of being). Why? Because for 100,000 years, birdsong meant “you are safe” and the your body still remembers this feeling.
I hope you’ll join me to unplug, reconnect with Nature, and settled into a deeply relaxed state of BEing.
Warmly,
Angie
