This is my dog, Calvin.
He LOVES mud.
Turns out, I love mud, too.
When my clients fall apart in our sessions, I honor their vulnerability. It leads us to heal those tender places.
(No mud, no lotus)
When my clients are unsure, unclear, or frustrated, I honor their “not knowing” and their ability to say it out loud. It leads us to examine their stories and unearth wisdom about integrity and boundaries.
(No mud, no lotus)
When my potential clients show up and say, “Something isn’t right and I’m deeply unhappy. I don’t know what to do or how to fix it” I honor their ability to say the thing out loud, even if they aren’t clear on what the thing is. It’s the first step towards their right life.
(No mud, no lotus)
I love getting in the mud with my clients – metaphorically as we move through the mess, lack of clarity, and confusion…and literally sometimes as we’re walking outside.
The mud is normal, natural, and part of life. I like to embrace it!
So does my dog. 🙂
And remember: a life with no mud offers no lotus.
Warmly,
Angie
