Forest Bathing + sit-spot practice happen with a few of my clients all year long. Rain, snow, wind, and on a couple of unexpected occasions, even in thunderstorms 😳
The different seasons offer so much variety.
The cold of winter is enlivening and offers greater views when the trees are naked.
Spring is when everything starts to come alive! New buds, lots of bright greens, and there’s a noticeable increase in birdsong.
Summer is for going barefooted, splashing in creeks, and enjoying the abundance of sunshine.
And fall…fall is crunching through leaves, smelling the dirt, and reveling in the spectacular color show!
And while all of this is deeply powerful as a stand-alone practice, my clients who are leaders, Founders, and executives with high-stress, high-stakes roles find this time outdoors allows their brains and bodies to profoundly relax.
This matters because forest bathing increases creativity and executive functioning, it makes space for new and original ideas and helps our cardiovascular and immune health. Plus, a whole basket of studies show that forest bathing increases empathy for ourselves and others and helps us sleep better.
Come to the forest with me and experience the effects for yourself!
Warmly,
Angie
