I recently read that trees have a sort of cardiovascular system.
The branches move up and down a few centimeters about every two hours.
Scientists believe trees do this to pump water into or out of the tree.
Have you ever sat with a tree for two hours?
I wonder if you’d hear or see or sense this happening?
I also wonder what you’d hear or see or sense this happening inside of YOU if you sat with a tree this long?
If this makes you wildly curious and sparks interest, I’d like to invite you to join me in the forest this spring. To sit with trees. To listen to the water. To lay on the ground. To walk barefooted if that feels right for you.
Join me on one or both retreats:
BeWilder Backpacking + Wayfinding in April with Island Ford Adventures as my marvelous and experienced co-host. 3 days, 2 nights. A full-immersion experience. Limited to 8 women (only 4 spots remain!).
OR
EMERGE: A Quiet Retreat for Reconnecting with Your Own Inner Voice in early June. Rustic luxury. Also 3 days, 2 nights, but with your own private room and bath. Limited to 8 women (7 spots remain).
Campfires, conversation, and time in the forest with both. A community of like-minded women seeking to remember who they are apart from the busy-ness that is daily life. And time to touch again who you can be.
I love these retreats and the women who show up for THEMSELVES.
