A.I. is scary to me…
And fascinating me…
When “Bard” – the A.I. program that Google created – answers questions, sometimes it makes things up. These fake answers are called “hallucinations.” Google’s CEO Sundar Pachai says that no one has been able to “solve” these hallucinations.
He also admits they don’t fully understand how A.I. works…
Yet they give the example that A.I. can write 1 million stories in the time it took Hemmingway to write one.
It’s way smarter than us, yet not the “same” as us.
A.I. is also not the same or as old as the trees and the rocks.
What if A.I. is never going to be as “smart” as them?
THAT gives me hope. And something to focus on.
““
Warmly,
Angie
