What did you do well this year?
Seriously! Take some time to reflect on this past year. List your accomplishments – professionally and personally. Sit with the things that went well.
Take time to review your accomplishments. List out what you’ve done and revel in those successes!
If you really want to do this right, check out Chris Guillebeau’s Annual Review process (from The Art of Non-Conformity). It’s pretty detailed, but gives good structure to the process.
“We spend January 1 walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a list
of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Maybe this year, to balance the list,
we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives… not looking for flaws, but
for potential.” – Ellen Goodman

Here’s wishing you a Happy New Year, peace and prosperity to you and yours in 2011!!
Thanks for reading — I’ll be back to posting twice a month starting in January. And if you commented on a blog post between December 15 – December 31, 2010, you’ll be entered into a drawing to win a book!
