I read an article recently that talked about people feeling “unhappy, unmotivated, and unmoored.”
What’s interesting is the people I work with don’t APPEAR to be unhappy, unmotivated, or unmoored.
On the outside, they are kicking ass and taking names. Receiving awards, invitations to speak, and earning the big money.
See, it’s their quiet secret that they’re feeling unhappy, unmotivated, and unmoored.
In business, they are all hustle, grind, and go, go, go.
They’ve been on the treadmill of achievement for SO LONG that they can’t even see what ELSE could be possible.
For instance, one of my clients spent a VIP weekend with me at the Biltmore. At the end of the weekend, she said in amazement, “Before this weekend, I didn’t even think it was possible to turn this work phone off, much less turn it off for most of these three days!”
Another client, during a walk in the woods with me, gave herself permission to voice her true desire. A few months later, she had it!
And finally, after 6 months of coaching together, one of my clients was able to finally – FINALLY – be fully present at her birthday party. She felt the love and companionship of the friends and family attending, whereas in the past she’d have spent the evening worrying about the food, the decorations, and even the room needing to be “perfect.” She missed out on a lot of love in the past and expressed so much gratitude for the gift of presence she was now feeling (and practicing regularly).
These clients look SO professional and put together on the outside. But inside? They were silently suffering and really feeling “unhappy, unmotivated, and unmoored.”
There’s something about me that people seem to trust right away. I don’t quite know what it is, but it’s a powerful force that invites people to speak the truth – their hurts, their dreams, and ore – out loud.
My current – and future clients – often say:
- I can’t believe I just told you that.
- I’ve never ever told anyone that.
- I don’t know why I’m telling you this.
- I didn’t even know I needed to say that out loud.
Speaking the truth of how you’re feeling – safely, confidentially, and privately – gives you relief of the deepest kind.
Speaking your dreams gives them – and YOU – POWER to make them happen.
Aren’t you done silently suffering with feelings of being “unhappy, unmotivated, and unmoored?”
If you’re so done with that, PM me…I can help.
Warmly,
Angie
