So many of my clients are brilliant women – leaders, founders, business owners. There’s a few dudes in the mix, too.
And dang are they hard on themselves!
And dang if that doesn’t also make them hard on others.
If that’s you…
I see you.
And I WAS YOU. And sometimes, because I’m human, I still am you.
Here’s what I also know about brilliant women – they’re courageous, daring, brave, creative, innovative, paradigm shifters, rule-breakers, change-makers, and savvy as all get out.
They often got that way by not tolerating mistakes in themselves or others (also know as perfectionism). In being critical of themselves and others and through harnessing perfectionism and exceptionalism, this undoubtedly helped them RISE.
And…what’s been the cost? I’ve heard and experienced the exhaustion, burnout, frustration, dissatisfaction, and spiraling anxiety.
Here’s my question: is that way of BEing working for you still?
Here’s my other question: what if there were another way to move through the world? A way that harnessed your amazing brains, skill, and talent AND had a solid foundation in self-compassion, self-forgiveness, and self-love?
And what if you moving that way through the world still embraced excellence, but without all of the judgement and suffering that used to push you forward?
I feel the relaxation in my core just writing that.
How about you? Does that pique your interest?
If so, I’d love to talk to you about self-leadership coaching with me. A 20-minute chat as an introduction. CLICK HERE to schedule.
Warmly,
