I was thumbing through Inc. Magazine recently when their Data Bank numbers caught my eye.
“Fifty-one percent of business owners worry about losing clients.”
This particular statistic jumped out at me because of a client meeting I have coming up Thursday.
“Lisa” is a small business owner in the tech field. She called me because she’s so overwhelmed that she can’t even figure out where to start unraveling the mess.
“Angie, I can’t even slow down long enough to think about this. I’m not billing regularly, I’ve missed a couple important details, and I can’t find paperwork and files I need because of the growing piles in my office. I’m afraid I’m going to start losing clients if I can’t get this under control.”
I get it. And I see this all the time. A growing business is both a blessing and challenge. Knowing where to put your time and attention when everything seems important can seem impossible. But NOT paying attention to the details can indeed stop your business from growing.
Thankfully, Lisa will be giving herself a gift – the gift of TIME. Together, we’ll dig into her Five Essential Business Systems (TM) in an organized fashion. She’ll know what critical things must be done each day and each week to move the business forward without sacrificing her client relationships – or her personal life.
And if you were curious, here are several other statistics that Inc. Magazine revealed about business owners and managers:
- 38% worry about being on call 24/7
- 49% struggle to bring in new business
- 54% have a fear of losing their company
- 41% say business ownership is taking a toll on their physical health (and noting that today is the anniversary of 9/11, our health and families are of utmost importance, yes?)
It’s gratifying to me to be able solve these issues with my Five Essential Business Systems (TM) program.
When you are seriously ready to break the cycle of “too busy, no time, stressed OUT” simply reply to this email and say so. “Angie, I’m ready.”
I’ll reach out to you and handle the rest.
Sincerely,
Angie
