You may or may not know that I’m already a published author – I’ve written dozens of business and travel articles for various publications over the years. The missing link has been my sitting down to finally write a complete book.
Yesterday I got one step closer to that ultimate prize – I self-published through Kindle ! Yay me!
So, what’s this book about anyway and how will help you? Let me explain…
I’ll say it simply: your disorganization is stealing your time, your attention, and your health (and that’s very nearly the title of the book). And if you’ve been a loyal reader for awhile, you’ve heard me say this seven ways to Sunday.
And if all this disorganization is bad for you (indeed, it is very bad for you) and if it’s keeping you from getting things done, you might be wondering where to begin.
- Do you grab a trash bag and start throwing stuff away?
- Delete your entire inbox?
- How about erasing all your calendar events?
- Chuck it all, move to Tahiti, and start over? (ok, maybe that’s my fantasy…)
Ok, ok, perhaps those ideas are perhaps a bit extreme.
How about this instead? Before you can expect to get a handle on your disorganization and inability to get anything done, you have to know what your priorities are.
Look… if you are struggling with an overly-stuffed inbox, piles of who-knows-what, and a life crammed with obligations, who is responsible for the chaos and overwhelm?
You are. Plain and simple.
And the great thing is, if you’re responsible for things being this way, it is entirely within your reach to make things different.
See, everything in your world, on your overly-stuffed schedule, in your too full life…you let it in. You allowed it to be there. Maybe you didn’t do it consciously. But you indeed said “Yes” one way or another.
So here’s the deal…
What I’m sharing in this book may leave you feeling uncomfortable. Some of it you may have heard before, but never stated so plainly.
Here’s the truth: your life is over-stuffed. And you’re mystified about how to be organized in this world of so much. It’s making your life chaotic, frantic, and it might even be making you sick.
The collective “we” thinks this is normal. And it is normal, until you’re completely fed up and want something different.
And that’s exactly why you would want this book. You want a new definition of normal – one you decide.
And you’re ready.

P.P.S. I also want to warmly and sincerely welcome all of the new subscribers to my tribe. It’s a honor to show you how being organized serves a noble end: getting things – the right things – done. Welcome!
